As Ordinary Time, or the growing season of the church year lingers on, many of us are watching trees lose their leaves – preparing for the colder, darker months ahead.

In Like a Tree Planted by the Water: a lunchtime mini-retreat, we’ll explore trees and their transformations alongside our own. Through a reflection of these transformations, we’ll consider what it means to grow deep roots toward water, while simultaneously reaching toward the sun.

Join me this Advent & Christmas for a spiritual direction group and book club, using the writings of Madeleine L’Engle as our guide. In this 6 week group, (with a one week break after Christmas) participants will read selections from L’Engle’s compilation "Miracle on 10th Street And Other Christmas Writings" and engage in group spiritual direction focusing on the themes of the season.
